[Warchild Corsair]

The fourth day of fighting on the border planet of Talitha. Alpha lance of the Shadow Walkers, 1st Bat/2nd Company, stood in silent salute watching the remaining Battlemechs of the Marik Republican Roughriders (MRR) disappear into the belly of their last Leopard Dropship. The MRR had done a very good job paving the way for the Phoenix Legion (PHL) towards the capital of the world, Charity Heights. The first combat bataillon of the Legion had smashed through the leftovers of the 31st Hussar Regiment. Supported by heavy artillery fire from their Fortress Class Dropship, the Legionaires fought coolly and forced the Hussars out of their way. At midnight, the local government had fled and the forces of the Free Worlds League had taken control of the planet.
Only the first of many Davion losses to come.

The Legion is now under contract with House Marik and our Mechwarriors proved their worth today, I think. We are thankful for the support we have received by quite a few Marik Mechwarriors and wanted to say that we purposefully reduce the strike team size so we can get some Lone Wolves on board.

We will continue to do so in the coming weeks (as long as we fight for the purple eagle) and encourage you to look into the faction chat as to when or where we will strike.

For the moment, Davion border patrols are our assignment and more are coming tomorrow.

As to our enemies: thank you for the fights - we try to put up as much brawl combat and Mech-to-Mech action as possible.

Marik forces continue to push hard into Davion territory. The Phoenix Legion continues to be the spearhead of the advance, aided by regular FWLM troops and other Mercenaries.

After the fall of Talitha the Legion has established a forward base and bridgehead on Van Diemen IV.
