Kept the HGN-733 due to sentimental value. It was my love at first lurm. It's also the mech where I lurmed Villz, Peef and their gang to death.

Anyway, I sold them, have 45 million right now, and I have no regrets. Even if those mechs got better quirks in the future I will not pilot them nevertheless.

I was strapped for cash a little while ago, and checked out my inventory on a whim.

I had 17 XL300 engines, enough medium lasers to outfit every mech in the federated commonwealth, and FOUR XL400 engines. 4! What the crap did I even need one for? When did I buy them? What the hell did I put them in????

I went on a selling spree like you, sold a crapload of mechs, made about 100 million, spent it ALL on radar derps and seismic sensors for most of my remaining mechs, and REGRET NOTHING.

I once sold most of my Highlanders, Atlai, Jagermechs, Hunchbacks, Awesomes, Cataphracts and Cicadas. Then I changed my mind and bought them back. My light OCD kind of kicked in, and I couldn't stand not owning every variant of my favourite mechs.

I regret everything.

Centurions are still great, but to each their own.

I sold all of my Inner Sphere mechs the day the initial Clan invasion pack launched. Only kept the Phoenix, Founders and a few Hero 'Mechs I had purchased. I kept my Shadowhawks and Griffins, that's all that mattered. They stay fully equipped and collecting dust.

I regret nothing.

To be fair, I have/don't have some variants in my mechbays because it was my position at the time.

There were some regrets. Some of them with no regrets (Spider-5V)... and some with great prejudice (Vindicator-1X).

I'm tempted to just sell the MLX outright anyways.

At one point I had 350+ SHS lol. Sell.

I had looked at my IS ML collection of over 170.... I scaled that back a little lol.

Numerous IS STD engines that came in light mechs. Sold.

Only chassis I have sold is lights, because they are either variants I wouldn't play anymore, or redundant(like a lot of the FS9's and Jenners) inexpensive to buy back(trollmandos) mostly because I wanted the mechbays, because, good lord, I have over 160 of them, why would I buy MC for more mechbays?

oh and Catapult C4. I mastered it poptarting LRM in the last semi lurmageddon. yes it worked, it was pretty lulz but I otherwise hated that variant.

The way mech packs work for well, since pheonix, mechbays and the like have never been an issue. I have a pretty severe case of pokemech syndrome, but even I can see the nonsense of trying to own one of every single thing and then not playing them for a year or more at a time.

So, off they go! Move over bacon, here comes some thing leaner! (points if you know that referance without googling it)

I regret nothing!

I once made drunken love to a pygmy albino aboriginal sorceress with one eye and bow legs I met while spelunking in the mountains of Tibet. I regret nothing.

Am I doing this right?

I think the worst mech I've dropped in a Clan CW dropdeck would either be the Suckoner or the Ice Fridge.

The Fridge has actually been rather productive.

I dunno, I routinely did pretty well with my 3 SRM6 Ice Ferret in CW when we went clans. Just bring it during wave 3, run around cause chaos and splat as many things as you can before they take your arms off

I can't bring myself to sell mechs, even the ones i don't run anymore. All that time and effort.

Ice Ferret isn't exactly the best CW 'mech but in the group queue I absolutely love playing it like a big light with 5 x CSPLAS and an SRM6. Takes out Firestarters easily and backs any assault in 2 alphas. Granted, it doesn't have the greatest build diversity but I also get good mileage from 4 x cMPLAS and 4-5 x CERMLAS as well. I think its rep is worse than it deserves.

Summoner with Gauss + 4 x cERMLAS is pretty good too. Sure, the go-to TBR build has 5 but just like the HBR and SCR 4 can easily get the job done and put out 700-900 damage in a match plus you have 70t 'mech armor and mobility.

When discussing 'mechs there tends to be a lot of casual hyperbole thrown around towards some of the less popular choices. I also agree with Bishop on the Centurion---I do not see how anyone can think that chassis is garbage.

Looking at your sig I disagree with the Adder as well. Since the PPC change just a primish build with the 2 x CERPPC and DHS I find it to be HIGHLY effective as fire support with the 1380 m/s speed from quirks and as long as you are low on the heat scale you can even quickly dismantle "meta lights" that think you are an easy target. Plays the complete opposite of the ACH but still effective.

The MLX definitely only exists now to run 2 x 75 and 1 x 65 in your deck and I see no use for the Kit Fox unless you want to play it like an Adder but with ECM.

I once looked over my mech bays, and decided to sell roughly 10 mechs that I simply never played.

That was juuuuuuuust before quirks happened.

Every single mech that got major quirks? Every single one. I sold them. I regret that; I could have had lots of fun with many of them.

What a shame. They were good mechs. What a rotten way to die.

All three used to be top dogs and now theyre scrap and it appears they'll never relive their past glory.

Just bought the HIghlander 732-B with the big torso armor quirks, wanted to test them out.

Very tempted to sell it back already, and I almost never sell mechs...

I regret every mech purchase followed by an untimely sell-off... I'e bought, sold and re-bought to only sell off again far more times than I care to admit.

Sadly, my logic and reasoning was actually deeper seeded in my O.C.D.

I'm now sitting with 10 mechs that half of which I'm battling with my inner monster over selling and thus far I'm winning the fight! :D

Yep, a real shame for the classics. But that's ok, cause with my new-found infatuation with high-mounts, the empty mechbays will be filled with Buttmasters and later on, Epic BJs. No quirks can obsolete them, as evidenced by the high performance of my sniper Timbie with Config-A LT, despite negative quirks.

Only mech I ever bought back was the Jager-S, and only cause I forgot to Elite the mech before selling, and my DD could not get a module slot. :P

Any mech you kill Villz in is a mech worth keeping. I'm sure he whined to the high heavens about LRMs after that too

I started to level Highlanders, Battlemasters and King Crabs long time ago - before Clan release, I guess. I got sick of "no XP waste - always level up something" model and wanted to buy all of them first - and only then to start leveling them. But then this game started to turn into crap due to several reasons - MM gone crazy (due to 4x3 and 12ppl I guess), CB/XP rewards were nerfed, etc. Also after age of Clans started, this IS 'Mechs, especially Atlas 2.0 Highlander - became completely obsolete. So I've bought almost all of them, but don't have any desire to level them up. Was thinking about selling them and buying Hellbringer and Mad Dog instead many times.
