Since the new collision there seems to be a bug sometimes.

So far it has happened now and then when I ran full speed with a light mech and jump up a (rock) wall. Example: When I collided with the (rock) wall I wanted to scale I was stuck in midair not going back nor forth for about 5 sec. When I tried to force the jump further I took massive damage to the legs (red from prestine).

Today the same thing happened in Forest Colony (snow) when I ran past a mech and with 150 km/h, took a right turn and collided with the rock. However, due to my speed I went a bit up the rock wall (at about 2475/1395). There I was stuck again in midair for about 5 sec a bit off the ground. The enemy team happily shredded my light mech.

Sorry, but this bug is getting more than annoying...

It's not a big that you stop when you run into things. It's called physics, you should be greatful that you're not falling over like you actually would hitting a rock at 100+kph.

Also I'm sad they are removing the added collisions because too many people are complaining.

You are not merely stopped. You hover for 5 seconds in the air or even longer

Yeah well run a car into a rock and tell me how long it takes you to recover.

This has been a bug in the game for a long time. I notice it most on raised platforms, such as the center of Terra Therma. Try skipping about at full speed and feathering your jump jets. Any time object on the platform, such as a box, could result in your death as a light. Cars in urban maps do this, as well as random rocks.

Randomly, you'll become suspended in the air for a few seconds, then be slammed back down to the ground like an angry child throwing his toys to the ground. Usually this results in either a busted leg(s) or nearly dead legs.

It's frustrating, and seems to be a general bug in the collision detection. Because collision detection uses speed to measure damage dealt on a fall, it often does screwy things like damage your legs when your moving fast, and complete a tiny jump.
