I would say a 7770 and overclock it, lower power draw, performance increases over time, and performance will be the same right now.

How about the sapphire radeon 7770 i see you advised there, i cant seem to find it on the hardwarecompare or is it just a modified 7770?
And i've found it for £100 which seems very reasanoble.

Excuse my noobiness, never had much time for games and pc's while studying but college is done time to play :D.

the VaporX is the fastest 7770 right now, and i highly recommend it. Sapphire overall is a good brand.
