I would say a 7770 and overclock it, lower power draw, performance increases over time, and performance will be the same right now.

How about the sapphire radeon 7770 i see you advised there, i cant seem to find it on the hardwarecompare or is it just a modified 7770?
And i've found it for £100 which seems very reasanoble.
Excuse my noobiness, never had much time for games and pc's while studying but college is done time to play

the VaporX is the fastest 7770 right now, and i highly recommend it. Sapphire overall is a good brand.
