You REALLY don't want changes to the current setup that allows 12 mans to stomp solos. Has your unit finally found a place where it can eke out wins - as a group against random solo players?

12 man UNIT groups stomp only 1% of the time. PGI told us this.

The remaining 99% are stomps BY PUGS! You know, smaller groups of players and the solo.

How about we stop the 99% of PUGs from stomping PUGs?

So, how DO you want to be nerf'd so you cannot stomp PUGs?

And thank you for asking about my Unit. We do just fine. Good matches and bad. Wins and losses and still holding our share of worlds. Odd thing, we have fun either way. We work as a team and cover each others strengths and weaknesses. We play as 12 working together and that is the fun we enjoy. Something else, if we don't have a a full 12 man, we will drop and invite the PUGs into our TS, shocking, I know. They might even have gotten an invite to join up so they will never have to drop alone in MWO.

How is your Unit managing to squeak out drops?

12mans are about 1% of total drops. Unless you have a 100% win rate then 12mans only stomp pugs a fraction of 1% of the time. They also tend to be matched against other teams. As in a legit 12 stomps a pug team about 1 in 150 matches, give or take.

Confirmation bias is a thing. How your brain works even. It is also who you make changes based on real metrics, not opinions.

You know back in the 90s you had a game manual to help you with anything in the game.

Back in the nineties you had a pentium computer with RAM measured in MB having to start your browser next to the game for a javascript lobby of maybe 4 random people online and no voice chat.

if it took you 25 minutes to get a match then where you using the tools that MWO given?

If not then that is an obvious problem, but even then some times you can get the shaft if bigger groups come in and push out the pugs from getting a match (it happens ... it has happened to me). The best I can tell you is join a group but if you prefer solo cw like me then it is just one of those things you have to deal with.

Ah the simple days. Brings a tear to my eye everytime I remember the dialup connection.

There was mechwarrior2 series, 3, age of empires, empires earth, diablo, warcraft, command and conquer. Oh the nostalgia! They were good days, and much was to be appreciated from such an era. Mind you my first computer experience was an Apple II with Gertrude's secrets.

Thank you for the mention of older hayday computers. But I fail to see how that amounts towards my original argument: That developers should be responsible for providing documentation. I understand that CW is still in beta and documentation is lacking. Hopefully this gets addressed in a future date and I hope to helps all players of MWO.
