Like many suffering from packet loss, rubber banding, lag disco's etc.
Did what the threads said do, did what support said do, did what the internet said do.

STILL getting 2-3% loss.......sometimes....... and was told by all, thats an acceptable amount.
Still letting go the walk button and walking into an enemy lance, still teleporting thru a wall etc.

Called the ISP, complained. The second time I used the word gaming.
Asked, if possible, was it my cable modem.
Guy said the 1-2% loss HE saw on his end was acceptable.

I had already researched my modem.......its at least SIX years old.

I asked the tech guy, verbatim, "hey, you know more about this stuff than I do...could you look up my modem please?"
him: "well, yeah, sure, ok"

long pause......."dang"
me: yes?
That thing is almost 8 years old- the original install date, we'll have someone out in the morning

New modem, ZERO packet loss (well. .02-.05)

food for thought when searching down the maddening problems.

My setup was streaming netflix, movies, youtube, everything flawlessly. my kid and his pals were both online and I could surf the net no problems.
home alone my game is lagging?
Wasn't down load speed, and wasn't upload speed, those all looked GREAT on every "speed test" I did.
And my Ping was GREAT

new modem fixed it

edit: the guy they sent out, looked at my linksys wireless G 2.4 router and suggested an upgrade on that as well.
Old(er) wireless routers do not respond to incoming/outgoing data if they are a mere five years old. Less secure, less likely to smoothly transition data (like gaming) where fast up and down communication is needed.
They're cheap considering what I've spent on computer stuff

I have packet loss aswell but just on the North America server. In Europe all is good and butter smooth. BUT: before the release of patch which brought hosting from EU and NA the North America server did not cause any problems ...
