All my matches recently appear to be blow out wins or blow out losses. Anyone else seeing this trend?

I have not noticed any difference at all. Stomps have been rather frequent ever since 12 man matches were introduced. But I'm still seeing as many close matches in 2015 as I did in 2014. I would like to see hard data to suggest otherwise, because I know from experience that it's very hard to keep track of these kind of numbers in your head. Confirmation bias is a son of a *****.

It's the time of day. Yesterday afternoon was normal, but it's saturday morning. Just like every weekend, gameplay takes a massive dive.

Weekend warriors don't play all week, don't get any practice, then hop on during the weekends, and tend to be pretty terrible.

@OP: I used to have this experience, but then PSR rolled out. Now most of my matches are pretty close and are quite good.

I've just noticed that if the teams are full of decent players who know when to press an advantage and communicate, it's very hard to stop the snowball effect.
Since PSR, this happens a bit more often than before.

Matches are okay. Been on the receiving end of maybe 3-4 blow outs (12-1, 12-4, etc) and dished out a few 12-0s with my team as well so it evens out.

We even had a 12-1 where I did almost nothing cause my teammates were so aggressive I couldn't fire much. I did like 84 damage the whole match yet we mopped the floor with the enemy. Also had a game where everyone except 2 people did 400-600 damage. No one said anything and just went out and did their thing and the enemy team was obliterated.

Matches have been absolute rubbish for me, to the point I dont want to play any more. I've got dozens of screenshots where I lead in damage in a VIndicator or Cicada and assault mechs on my team can't break 100 damage.

Most rounds start with my team down 2-4 mechs in the first 3 minutes.

My overall win / loss is about 1.13 but I have won 1 game out of the last 30 since about Wednesday.

The group queue is worse. My usual merc corp mates are dropping out of MWO entirely to play warships or elite. The 10-12 man clan laservomit tryhards have extinguished all of the casual players from CW and have returned to regular game modes to chase off the rest of the players.

Just ran another one while I was composing this message. 0-12 on caustic.

I'd honestly rather play 3 mechs short on my team than with the hyper derps I have been getting who block movement and strip my back armor on the way to the battle.

It's been feast or famine for me as well. I got 2:1 w/l during the most recent event but since Tues its been 1:2. No change in mech configuration or the ones I play... Odd.

What I can say is that the matches that are close are more frequent and more fun since change from Elo to PSR...

Honestly, we tend to do better if someone calls out on Voip to protect the assaults right when the game starts.

One thing I can suggest is trying to stick to a server and see how it goes. If you are stuck on one server only try a different one. You might run into more decent people that you enjoy playing with.

Yes, just with more blow out losses than wins.

It's getting so that if I see I'm on my team I just give up.
