Until the mech is less than (Pick a value) 75% health OR has at least one disabled or out of ammo weapon.

Why? Its a viable tactic to get back to base quickly at the loss of a lot of mech

Good point about getting back to base but I was thinking more so for the dishonourable pilots who decide not fight and eject 2nd and 3rd wave mechs to get the match over with.
Thinking about eject back to base issue and I now propose removing eject completely for all mechs except those with no offensive capability remaining.
Ejecting back to base is an exploit of the game so a team can push out with no requirement to worry about enemy stragglers making back to base for an unexpected win. Simply eject and stomp.
Legging opponents and leaving them where are would be a more valuable tactic. Pushing out too far from the action may leave you acting as a limping turret.
Team mates may need to put you down to avoid leaving you behind and weakening next wave.
Removing eject as long as player can still fight opens up several additional tactical considerations.
Just rambling... Original suggestion was for point 1 dishonourable pilots.

hehe, i knew it would be the thing
anyway you can always blow up you mech without any eject, pgi should make so that people wouldn't want to quit the match asap

So when I'm legged and left by the enemy with only a head laser... I couldn't eject under your proposed rules. No thanks.

what purpose should this have?
people would just use more laservomit to make sure that in case of being lagged and left behind in need of an tactical "eject" they still can overheat suicide or in coordinated teams would shoot each other to crap given they need a "tactical emergency retreat to base"
it wouls also just create more Base camping" to avoid getting legged and left in usless positions.
If you want to implement a change for a specific reaosn, first check if what you try to prevent can not be achieved somehow else.
So unless you disarm and leg an opponents this would hardly work or change much. it would only annoy a people in edge case situations, but not help in tactical depth.
And the dishonourable pilots just wantign to end the match fatser would either suicide or just leave the game, so not even here the idea "solves" anything.
