Do any groups already exist for this? I've been playing since day 1 and I've probably only played a dozen duels out of my ~8000+ drops. PGI may add Solaris some day, but until then I'd love a chance to test my EXE against the other old hats in the forums, and I'd really love to squash the badmouthing scrubs who post 'lol you clearly don't kno how to play' as an 'retort'..... but no point in challenging someone without a huge audience to watch you kill them!!! So does anyone have a 1v1 dueling night set up with their unit\community? I have faith that my MASC monster is one of the most frightening mechs to face solo.

Not sure about the audience though, that might be lacking since I do not have one lying around.

I'll friend you after work. By audience I just mean the other dozen or so players taking turns dueling... I'll post on my unit website and start trying to put a list together. If anyone else is interested, my unit drops in the public comstar TS anyway so I can add you and track you down there.

Anyone can get 2.0 KD in group queue. Dropping against EMP in groups also means nothing since that queue pretty much ignores Elo.

I have a 2.0 kd or better in the Cheeto in 90% group drops because it's easy to play groups.

I'd gladly 1v1 you tonight so I can see if you're actually any good

What are you going on about? Nothing important and seems like a lot of epeen from your here when everyone else is down for friendly fun duels.

Maybe this isnt the place for you fate....i know. And BTW K/D dont meant sh*t in a 1v1....i have no idea why you even brought that up.

Id gladly 1v1 anyone and I have prem time running often as well so i can help hold the lobby open if need be. Friend me if you need! Glad to help!

I love dueling! My unit has had a couple rounds of 1v1 tournaments and it's such a different thrill than the main game.

We select a mech class and a Faction but within that anything goes. The protocol for our duels is to setup both mechs 300 meter apart but with their backs to one another. Someone will count down from 3 and on go we start moving. Generally we've done these in the D3/C3 area on Forest Colony.

Another point is that we bring out dueling builds, so its fun to play around in the mechlab with that in mind. Suddenly ammo storage isn't quite as important since you've got 1 target to kill and it frees up space for things you hadn't previously considered.

Either way, if you wanna do some duels I'm game!

The OP in no way, shape or form was calling anyone out. You need to settle down and a 2.0 KDR on an Arctic Cheetah is absolute **** no matter how you slice it.

I didn't even look up my stats I just know it is higher than the benchmark 2.0 KD that the OP brought up.

OP definitely called out people who said he's a bad player.
