Question, I have Shadow Play for my capture device. I will take the raw video and then produce it using Cyberlink Powerdirector 13 .
This reduces the video from roughly 10 gigs to 3 gigs. I will upload the produced video. However on You tube to me it looks fuxxy and not HD. Just looks bad to me despite being captured in 2160 and produced at 1080
So if I load up the raw video from shadow play would it look better since its not as compressed?

Uploading to YT, I'd use H264 codec with at least 18,000 kbps of bitrate; that is for 1080p though, not sure about 2K resolution.

You have to wait for a while for youtube to process it. It does the low resolutions first.

Youtube compresses the video.
It gives you only a certain bitrate assigned to the resolutions. Render your videos in 2160p (or anything else higher than 1080p) and upload them in this resolution. You will get 3 times as much bitrate and the video will look much better.
You have to watch them in that resolution though.

I'm seeing that, recording now in in 2160 p and as well as producing it as such. First try is processing now.

check the resolutions available on you tube, it takes some time for it to do the higher res ones and will start off at auto and low res.
