I was planning on eliting Firestarters, maybe I will buy that Champ, now that it has a good build
And those modules! I was starting to pile up CBills for Resistance 2, so I could have enough for upgrades,engines and weapons... Looks like I will use those funds for something else

Ok, so I need some C-bills quick (new player trying to get into CW, need some modules), so in relation to this sale is it better to buy MC, buy a mech, strip it and sell components rather than buy c-bills pack (which I think it is). Looking at the sale I would think that the Cicada with it's 340XL for 800MC would be the way to go?

I would say that you would gain more from keeping that XL 340 than from selling it. It is an engine that you can use in many different mediums and XL friendly heavies. You could buy some premium time and try to grind those CBills. Of course, if you don't have time for that, selling a XL engine will get you some easy millions.

That is always true, the c-bill packs are overpriced in comparison to many Champion mechs, even without the sale.

Beware that the C-bill numbers given there are from before Tuesday's patch, so the SDR-5K(C) (now XL280 instead of XL255) might be better than the CDA-2A(C) now, I haven't checked.
(Edit: a quick calculation suggests that you will get nearly 2300 C-bills per MC (4600 during this 50% sale) with the Spider, compared to 2219 (4438 during the sale) for the Cicada.)

But listen to Danielio97, too ... I currently have five mechs using XL340 engines (but "only" four XL340 engines) and if I hadn't bought an XL345, there would be a sixth one. So if you want to spend MC to save C-bills, keep at least one XL340 (and XL300 and XL295 and XL280 and XL255 and maybe even XL265 ) to use in your mechs. Plan your MC package accordingly.

I had 100 Mill C-Bill.

I was sad, there was no Seismic on the Sale. I used 100 Mill C-Bill on Wepmodules.
Decide to save new Millions over Time till a Seismic Sale, pretty sure there will be one later.
So i used the whole Money for Wep-Modules.

One Day Later Seismic is on Sale.

I hope this sale brings into light that modules need to be permanently 35% or maybe even 50% off. I know you do not want to piss people off that had paid full price in the past, but this is a change that must be done for better player retention for this game.

Anyway this is a nice sale, it will surely make me spend some $ and get a few champions, mechbays, and of course modules!
