I don't think PGI can ever fathom just how much money I would throw at them if they had mech customization, true mech customization. Different cockpits, armour styles, hands/feet/pauldrons/knee guards,chest plates etc.

If we could change cockpits I'd actually play my locust...you can't see squat in it not including the gun flashes right in your face.

I'd pay for my favorite cockpit. I'd buy cockpits for quite a few mechs because some are just awful with lines and screens blocking vision and cockpit items. Look at the warhorn on the SHC, it sits behind two screens.

I would love full customization, but I think cockpits is a bit too much. Cockpits should be the same, since they are built within the head. So a Shadowhawk head gets you a shadowhawk cockpit.
