Not really, if you're facing single mechs with AC or SRMS, they still have gaps in firing time for you to get decent targeting compared to retreating from multiple AC rounds from several mechs. You're better off using the Improved Gyro for sniping when you don't want the PPC, LRM, Gauss hits to mess up your aim.

Seriously, that's half the tactical advantage of ballistics, particularly those with short cycle times. Yes it's a bugger to knocked-about but... that's the nature of the best.

This is kind'a like a boxer complaining about his opponents jab being annoying.

Aiming with Gauss/PCC = impossible while the [redacted] i'm fighting against just stands there and keeps shooting on me... and i can do nothing..

That's the point. You brought sniping tools, they brought tools to make sniping difficult.
