Kind of funny though, I got it for the Hunchy IIc but given how low the TTK is already in this game, those walking coffins will be interesting lol

Woo so now that Omnimechs are outdated what will we get next XD
We've yet to get a sufficiently heavy Clam Battlemech with separate ballistic locations that are high mounted...so there's that.
Hunch does it slowly and fragile, but can do it. Can't bring laservomit alongside it.
Still lots of room for powercreep.

Dunno; any clam that isnt hampered by the clan omni rules should make omnis obsolete (IE the opposite of the way it should work)

Well, it'll only make the bad omnis obsolete.
There's no chance the Orion will make the Mad Cat (or even the Cauldron Born and Hellbringer) obsolete.

Most lack the Hardpoints. Heavies, as stated, won't change. Timby is still better because it can take all the lasers, with either Gauss or SRMs.
HGN and Orion lack separate B locations for Dual Gauss (at 6 tons savings) without additional heatsinks or oversized engines.
Hunch and Jenner do not have those issues, and will be pretty beastly. Not a large powercreep though. Jenner is a small step above the Hankyu (which has more leg structure and damn good quirks) while the Hunches+quirks already compare to the IICs.
Dual Gauss is new, and Dual 10 with decent speed might be alright. E boat blows the 4P away, and that will be good. Loki builds, with JJs instead of ECM.
With better heavier mechs, yes, no doubt they will blow Omni's out of the water...but we didn't get those. Power levels will be a small increase, but nothing significant.

well yeah, theres the born and bread OP Omnis theyll never obsolete, true, but if they put non gimped clan battlemechs into the game (unless this is the only time theyre ever gonna do this and a lot of these mechs were designed to be deathtraps) they should obsolete the non OP Onmis because having freedom SHOULD make better mechs than not lol
Dunno if Im writing this the right way, IO broke two teeth and nomming painkillers at the moment

Dual Gauss Medium, without exposing yourself you being 1 shot. Grid Iron does pump them out at the same rate, but not the same thing. Nearly max armour, aside from all the arms and a small amount (4?) from each leg.
Less agile than a PeaceDove in most cases, but, hey, Dual Gauss Medium.
