I always thought half the challenege in a Urbie is not get shot!
I'ts not like you have the armor/speed to survive being focused by multiple opponents (however, the urbie can be incredibly durable in a 1v1).

I would substitute "Or all tiny weapons". I submit a PPC or LPL is still staying with the Spirit of the Urbie. As such weapons were not uncommon field mods, even in TT.

Proof of not DoA is kinda part of appreciating the Urbie, since plenty of people still give it no respect. Which suits us fine.

They're still tiny visually.
If PGI made them into giant cannons with barrels rivaling those of Autocannons, i'd use them myself.
But alas, PGI has a fetish for tiny f*cking square pegs to represent 7 ton f*cking lasers.

To be honest, when the Urbie was announced I though it was a joke. But it was also a pleasant surprise because it was a community effort (or at least from a part of the community) come true. And I decided to buy the collectors pack to show PGI that they can take the community sugestions seriously and win money in the process (its a win-win situation for all). Also, I always play lights and mediums, and the urbie looked like a fun mech, not meta or OP, but simply fun.

And it delivered. Its a really fun mech, small, not so fast, with one big gun, durable, and almost as cute as a kitfox. I have absolutly no remorse to having buy it, and with my panthers, its one of the mechs in wich I do the most damage/kills in matches. And all of it while being classy!

It's still the biggest list of Urbie highscores. While a lot of those scores have been beaten by now it's a good benchmark for performance.
Given enough time any good Urbie player will beat every single one of those scores, but if that scoreboard should consist entirely of 200+ 10+ 12 1200+ scores, it would be useless for actually measuring anything besides the time invested by each player.

YES

No, seriously, the Urbie is an excellent mech. Tiny profile with excellent high hardpoints, hitboxes, 360º torso twist (i use it all the time...Death Lotuuuus), good quirks, jumpjets, not-so-bad speed... just PERFECT.
