When I saw the illustration of the MechLab, it looked pretty cool. It was interesting how they can even let your paint over your own camo if you wanted to. Even though it was a picture, it could be nice have a color generator. Because with a color generator you could make your own colors likes scarlet, tan, or even gold. You could even use it whether you want to have your identity for yourself, your own Merc Corps or show your loyality for a House. It could have a RGB and 0-255 scale just like MS Paint. This sytem could give players more style and variety when they customize their mechs and it even shows in battle.

I suspect they prebake the images because it means the game can just send a code to say "hey use this one." But it would be nice to have greater variety in those options.I agree it would be nice if they expanded upon those.

The picture just really got me interested in learning about the customization of mechs. I do hope color generator gets in the game.

That would be pretty cool, but I think I would be too tempted to run around in retina destroying neon colors, which is bad for business.

The only one that matters to me.

Mine.
