Ah. Well i would love to put custom decals on mechs. But i am not sure how much bandwith it would require to see it for everyone. I always had to laugh at Team Fortress 2 gifs and tags on the walls.

I hope there is a way to scale the decal's size. It would add variability between one pilot's mech to the next.

The fedcom decal on the shoulder looks a bit big imo

A lot of uncensored gentiles would get mwo slapped with an AO rating which would be problematic from a sales perspective.

Why do people assume that If/when decals arrives, they'll be able to make their own ones (ie penises)?

I believe we'll have a fixed set of premade decalse to chose from. As all of these will be installed on each and every client there's very very little bandwith needed to inform the other clients which decal I've chosen, where I've put it, and the rotation and scale.


Warthunder did this good, aswell as Survarium.

Sure, I do like the awesome editors found in APB, but that kind of freedom i not fitting for MWO
