I will give Oceanic another shot once its performance is fixed and stabilized. I can manage the ping, but I am less willing to deal with regular disconnects and bad hit registration.

This is why I might keep it checked...

You win some Internets if you know what that is

I am in the SW US. I get a solid 95-110 ping here. I get almost the same ping on the OC servers as on the Euro servers. I usually get a rock solid 190-210 on the Euro servers. I get a 180-230 on the OC servers. So I will be playing all of them.

The Euro servers seem stable for me, zoom never lags, no lag in targeting etc etc. It is basically like playing the NA servers, I do not really notice any differences, and the ping is solid. The OC servers are similar ping but less stable. The ping will fluctuate from 180-230 during the same match, where as a higher ping on Euro for me does not do that, 210 on the euro server generally stays at 210 the entire match. Also get lag zoom sometimes and lag targeting. Have had 3 matches out of 30+ that just blew up, dropped back to mechlab. And have had 2-3 where my mech magically teleported, had components blown off with no idea how, ended up somewhere I never would have gone, etc etc. Those things never happen to me on the Euro server.

I drilled 11 of those b*%ches into my wall on Friday....Hanging stuff in the basement is fun.

If my ping stayed stable (either at 180 or 235 or 211 or 199) id gladly try to play their. But it jumps all over the place and makes it hard to keep a bead on mechs and such. If it stayed at 200 something im sure i could get used to it. might not ever be on par with my ability on a better server but id try for sure.

LOL! Your a brave or lonely soul if you try to get your swerve on with something that is rolling around in the bottom of my tool bag.

Well I'm glad some people are staying to help populate the servers! But I got better internet speeds recently so I could get better ping, and I'm not about to purposefully hinder myself :)
