By all indications ping from australia to singapore jumped from 100 to 300 in 2012.

2012 was also the year australia's internet filtering went into effect.

All of the above is bad.

But do you know what the worst thing about this is?

The fact that people need me -- an american to inform them of these basic facts.

When you need an american to keep you informed of world events you know you're hitting rock bottom.

And you are still wrong. most players in Australia will get pings below 200 if they are with the right ISP. my own ping has stabilized at 140-150. Internet speeds in Australia have absolutely nothing to do with that useless filter so just stop please

I have only ever seen about 10 people with less than 100 ping on the Singapore server. And they had like 5-20.

I live in Australia, and the Oceanic Server has been hilarious. It's almost as bad as the US server (I wish the US server was on West Coast) than it would of been better pings on USA than Oceanic for me.
