Is it just me or are the Victor's Arm mounted weapon mounts too low? I'm 90+ matches in and the angle that the weapon fire comes from doesn't match up with the cross hairs. The weapon mounts firing spots are too low. If I'm aiming anything less that 20 degrees above the center line the rounds and laser fire end up hitting terrain. There is also horrible convergence. I've mastered almost every mech in the game and this is my 2nd time leveling Victors. I don't remember this being such a problem the first time around. Basically if there are any obstacles in front of me the firing angles are too acute to put the weapon fire on the cross hairs. 1/2 my shots hit ground before reaching convergence.

I have to either be at elevation or on flat ground to do any consistent damage. I'm having to jump just to get shots on target and taking huge damage.

The first set of Victors I leveled was in PPC AC10 pop-tart days so that my be part of it, but I'm pushing 10K rounds played and I'm almost tempted to sell or park all 3

I played the Dragon Slayer for hundreds of matches. The arm mount is low but is not super low, unlike the Phracts.

Right now, you should park them until the next big re-balance patch comes out. Zeus is just better. Heck, even the Gargles is better.

There are way worse mechs for that than the Victor.

It seems worse now than it used to because on the older maps, things where a lot more flat with less low obstacles. The new maps are much more three dimensional, and that makes low mounted weapons even more of a liability.

Thanks Bandito. I think I will do just that.

Good point Winter.

Biggest issue is not so much low as those weapons have such a wide arc similar to Nova. Victor is still ok though. I do like its jump jets now they have somewhat improved.
