When Does Tier Level Increase?

I am a T5 player, and I just completely filled the pilot skill rating bar, but I'm still showing as T5.

How / when does completing the XP bar result in a tier increase?

when the bar is completely full you move up a level,

you probably need a few more points before it is really full, but not enough to be represented by a pixal

Ya probably a couple more games with PSR increase and you should go up. It takes a while with a lot of drops in between.
