2 gauss loadout. I peek around a corner and fire 1; both ammo counters drop by 1.

Is there a sane/rational explanation as to why there is a 2 round expenditure for 1 gauss shot?

Wait you have TWO gauss rifles but think you should only use ONE bullet?

IF they are both in the same fire group they fire at the same time, thus 2 bullets. Sounds to me like this is what happened.

I have never seen nor heard of anyone having that issue ever before.


Oh wait i get it now...you mean the number of ammo next to the gun dropped on both? Because you are counting ammo as a TOTAL, its not this many for this gun and this many for this gun. If you lost an arm and gauss you still be able to feed all remaining shots to the remaining rifle.

In other words if you have 30 shots and shot one both rifles ammo numbers drop to 29.

Both Goose waffles use the same ammo stockpile. If you have 50 rounds total both rifles will show 50 rounds, if you shoot one rifle both counters will drop to 49, if you shoot both counters will drop to 48.

You shouldn't rely on counters anyway, a real cowboy knows how many bullets are left in his Colts.

Fire only the right gauss and the ammo counter droped to 38.

Screenshot your loadout and your ticks (weapon grouping in lower RH corner of your screen). If it's duplicable, do it again whilst running FRAPs and show us. If there is a BUG, it needs reported.

It is also possible you meant to fire only one but they were linked on the trigger you used. Test it out and report it if you can replicate the extra ammo loss.

I changed out the left gauss to a lrg laser this morning. I am not wasting any more cbills on this after confirming in the testing grounds.

My next question is can I ask for a cbill/gxp refund or am I SOL?

OK it is confirmed that I am to f'n old to trust my eyes (counter is correct my eyes aren't as good as the used to be) . I should have tested this fully when I bought the MD this morning.

Load one, skip one, then load 4 more - hammer down on the empty chamber

My UM-R60L only has 14 shots, and I count them all in my head!
