Greetings MechWarriors,

The time has come for the dedicated pilots of the Inner Sphere to strengthen their bonds. Wave 3 of the Clan Invasion has struck with its remaining force, but the factions of the Inner Sphere are preparing a furious response: the first of the Resistance II 'Mechs are scheduled for delivery to eligible pilots in September.

If you own both the Resistance I Wrath Collection and Resistance II Mauler Collection before August 31st at 11:59:59 PM PDT (September 1st at 6:59:59 AM UTC), the Blood Pact will be forged and you will qualify for receiving unique rewards for your dedication.

If you have already purchased both top-tier Resistance I and Resistance II Collections, you already qualify.

The delivery date for all Blood Pact rewards will be October 20th.

The pattern and extra goodies look good. Sadly, I have no real interest or use in getting the Mauler and/or Zeus (and can't justify the $40 because of that) . . . otherwise I'd be all over it. Pity that it doesn't apply in any way to matching lower tiers. Now that'd be awesome.

Regardless, major kudos to people who get it. Looks like it'll be good content to get.

On the other hand, so where are the original Resistance 1 Titles and Badges, that we were supposed to be getting several months ago, now?

Cosmetics. Well, was already all in for Resistance so its a nice bonus. But unsure if it will be enough to convince fence sitters to buy or upgrade.

Nice first standard variant new skin in a long time.

I really don't mind if certain skins are only unlockable on certain mechs. Its just practical.

Attempting to finish working on all skins for each new chassis as they come out is just not practical

Mmm I have the top tier Resistance 1 and bottom tier resistance 2 so far but can not physically afford to upgrade resistance 2.

Would have been nice to see some tiered rewards.

For example:

Both level 1 packs give paint for those mechs.
Both level 2 packs paint for those mechs plus cockpit item
Both level 3 packs paint for those mechs plus cockpit item and bonus modules
Both level 4 packs all of the above plus bonus mech.

Plus a weeks premium time (banked) as a thank you to anyone who purchased at least one pack from both resistance 1 + 2.

At the moment it looks like a cash grab for the richest players and not a genuine pay back to supporters (and a not very tempting one either).

I think its just their way of tying together/putting an end a series of mech packs. Like the rainbow badge for clan wave 1,2,3. Kind of like how once your favorite series finishes airing, they tie them together and sell it as a volume or w.e.



Means maybe the upcoming IS mech pack won't be a Resistance III pack.
(Personally hoping next IS mech pack will be Phoenix II)

I have to be honest here... I have been a large supporter of the game and have bought just about everything, well before I took my break... The only two top tier packs I haven't bought yet are the Resistance II and Clan Origins. Even though I play clans most of all, I have a just about every IS mech there is. Once I saw Russ's comment on twitter I was thinking I would go ahead and spring for the pack depending on what was offered as the extra goodies. Yeah, sorry this doesn't do it for me especially with just how expensive this game has gotten if you try to support the company buy pre-ordering... This doesn't make an additional $80 purchase worth it to me...

If I remember correctly, the early adopter reward included a 4th variant of each mech - from both R-I and R-II. That's 8 extra mechs.

You might be right with this. Next IS pack might be a different flavor all around.

PGI goes out of the way with extras for us so why is this a cash grab? I'm not going back to Resistance 1 Pack. Bought the Panther for c-bills, it was the only one I wanted but I did buy all of Resistance 2. Make your own decision with your money. In the end, if more people do buy the full Resistance 1 and 2, isn't is better for me and you that other people are supporting the game. Just don't get the money grab comment mentality. All you have to do is keep playing the game to support PGI.
