Simple Questions Never Answered

What is the calculation behind the new Match Score? It looks like it is very damage dependent, unlike its previous version.
Why are there screens with No Signal still in the cockpit? What would you want shown on them? As for me mech details about, your mech (maybe actuators being knocked out like heat sinks or number of engine crits suffered).
What happened to decals? (Sorta mentioned something similar to decals in the latest Dev Vlog about paint schemes with different arms and such, but I mean specifically decals.)
There are many factions in the Inner Sphere and Clan verse and I understand that not all can be represented in CW through picking that house faction and such, but what about paint schemes, cockpit items, and decals to represent these factions that are not yet represented? Example, Kell Hounds decal to be emblazoned on the mech, or cockpit items and such.
The biggest question I have and has been mentioned here and there is about the vision modes. Heat and Night vision are horribly represented and I know Predator vision was being used to snipe, but can you find a happy median there or all out solution for this? Also Predator vision is way cooler in my opinion than the current version.
So whats your opinion or answers?

The previous version was just as damage dependent (damage/10... 300 damage gets you 30 match points for challenges). It just happens this is even more damage dependent.

It's Lostech. It's stuff that was cool until things got serious and no further work is being done on it (especially when some of the existing screens are less functional than they were in beta).

Lostech for a while, probably due with primarily focusing on more mechs for the packs.

No dice. Adding more of the factions would be more problematic for CW anyways.

Blue-vision was used for EVERYTHING back in the day (including over the super-glowy almost usable night vision).
There has to be a balance and use for vision modes that don't do "everything" for you.

Has anyone managed to "reverse engineer" the match score properly yet? If so, would you mind pointing me to that thread?
I'm especially interested in how the different points on the match performance window are weighted (i.e. 2 kills, is it 2 points or 6? 10? 20?).

The new one? Not yet. Sorry... I'm sure someone will be generous enough to post it...

Did someone say predator vision?!?! When predator vision was originally in, they didn't have a restriction on how far you can see so you could see a bright orange blip from 2km out. Then when they switched to black and white, there's now a 750m (I think that's the number) range where everything goes to black. IMO if they just put that limitation on predator vision it'd be fine.
I'd gladly pay cash monies or give up a module slot to get my precious Predator Vis back

It still does. The brighter white a mech is, the hotter it is. Doesn't show up very well on some maps that are already hot, but on cold maps you can definitely see mechs getting brighter white as they fire. It also makes it easier to pick out PPC snipers compared to gauss snipers.
