And I'd really like to invest some money again in this game but:
a.) Resistance II is a load of crap mechs, which aren't worth the money, at least when you got as much mechs as me. Mauler is the only thing which seems interesting to me and it's the top tier mech. I'm not going there.
b.) As much as I like the IIC mechs, PGI made the decision to limit awesome variants as Early Adopter rewards, I don't support that and hence will not invest a single dime into the IIC mechs.
c.) Wave III is pretty awesome but was a slap in the face of Wave 2 owners, as much as I like my Wave 2 mechs the power disparity between Wave 2 and 3 is immense(imo)
So: PGI please reconsider your package strategy. As much as I like to invest into the game, at an ongoing basis, I'm not willing to let me be played like a fool. Customers reward a good and honest service and will leave behind companies who try to coarce the money out of their pockets(with Apple being the only notable exception).
This all sounds probably a bit harsh and I don't want to accuse PGI immediately of ulterior motives but the composition, price and terms of future packages should be given more thought to. It should be: fair to all buyers(not only for new players or early birds), provide a good value and each package should bring something new to the table sans too much power creep.
On that note: Thunderbolt Bundle, Clan Heroes and a KGC hero would be an instant buy for me in this very moment.
