So after I basiced out my TBR-C(C), I thought about my venerable CPLT-K2 that's been gathering dust in the hangar. I have never been able to find the build for it that I really liked. And I believe I have found exactly that build!

Yeah, I stripped it and decided to try my proto-MAD-3R build on it.

A STD 260. Max armor all around but for 55 points per leg rather than 60. Endo AND Ferro to make up for giving up 10 tons to the real Marauder. Two PPCs because I had them in storage. Two MLAS, again because I have plenty. And to top the build off, a u/AC5 with two tons of ammo. Two DHS. And with a ton and a half left over I added AMS just because.

The K2/3R is mastered, so I also added a Level 3 PPC cooldown module I had in storage, and after a few drops I bought an MLAS range module and upped it to Level 5. And with the 20% PPC velocity quirk, the 15% MLAS duration reduction (!), the 10% heat buff, and the 10% added ballistic range, it's pretty nasty! Like any proto-Marauder, it's hot, with a heat value of 1.13. Its listed firepower is 35, because IS MLAS aren't as good as Clan ERMLs. It is a nasty infighter, with its uAC available when the PPCs aren't, or if the bad guys close inside 90m. Typically, I've seen that they aren't looking for a uAC barrage in the face in that close, and it makes them think....unless you jam. C'mon, PGI! Let's have a uAC jam chance reduction on the 3R(S), PLEASE!

Again, this is NOT a recommended build. It isn't optimized, obviously, and it's right-handed with three weapon groups. But it is another build that somewhat simulates the upcoming Marauder, though its PPCs are higher-mounted than its uAC.
