I want to strongly discourage any thought of making player's tiers public knowledge. If you want a good example of how toxic this can be to a community, look no further than the World of Tanks forums where the "unitard" players (as I refer to the players in the 'unicum' tier) lord it over anyone not of their skill rank.
Even players of moderate ability find it entertaining to mock anyone mildly less skillful than they are.
Don't do it, you can thank me later.
