According to my friends playing with me, and at least one video I've seen of this game on youtube, apparently VoIP is supposed to be in such a way that radio communication between players is supposed to be filtered and have little bits at the beginning and end of the input to make it sound like they're actually using a radio to communicate.

I get no such thing, however, but both people I've played with said that it sounds like they're actually using a radio.

And that sounds baller as heck.

So I'd like to know if there's something I'm missing, here. Is this actually a thing? Is there a way to help it if it doesn't seem to be working for me?

are you talking about something like this? Listen to his demonstration @ 1:20

EDIT: I forgot there are plugins in Teamspeak for sound clicks/mic clicks when people key in. I'm just not familiar with them.
