I know the conversation is going on about public vs private. However, where would you go to find out your Tier? Forums or in game? Stats or skills?

The exact same way like it used to be when ELO was the thing.

I imagine that you would be able to find yours in game, and they will just have a third party make a 'stats tracker' website.

Currently that info will be blocked for everyone, with a possibility of it being viewable later on.
And i'd imagine it will be viewable on your stats page.

To see if you're T1, keep an eye on the players list each match. If you see certain names from top units like SJR, EmP, 420, Lords, etc. then you're at the Peaks of Mount Tryhard™.

To see if you're T5, look at the loadouts of your team and the enemy. If you see LRM + Gauss Atlases, or Jagermechs with 3 different calibers of Autocannons at the same time, you're in the Steering Wheel Underhive™.

So uselessly subjective? As in I see so and so, very often so I must be tier 1?

And with the changes, and the promise that a tier 5 player will never see a tier 1 player, I find it hard to believe as I could have friends start playing this week, suck all week long, get bumped down to that level, then if I am the tier 1 and I team with them, they will likely see other tier one's etc...

And if I see Urbanmechs with machine guns and small lasers riding on the backs of Stalkers with flamers? Eh. I should probably just uninstall at that point...

Just play the damn game will ya? Who cares what tier you're in? Will it make any difference once you know? Go! Spew forth unto the battlefield and destroy all in your path! Mwahaha!

Well I know where I am then...

And Lo, though I pass through the valleys of the Underhive, the Emperor protects. Suffer not the Lurm Altas to live, nor the triple caliber Jaeger, nor the poorly built laser boats. Make your contempt your armor, your hatred your sword.

Cleanse them with AC and Laser, in the Emperor's name.

Since CW stats dont count. Im pretty sure some of the clan tags of the big "try hards" are not indicative of your tier.

That may not be a forever thing either, when CW finally gets out of beta, I'd love to see stats from that pumped in to stats in general as well.

How can you be uber-l33t at CW when there's no point to it currently...?

Sorry. Was that too low? Too trolly?

Statistics are life. They are the goalposts you use to measure progress.

There are 3 lies in this world:

Lies, DAMN LIES!, and statistics.

EDIT: Top kek, just realized this ended up as a C&P of your sig. :P

I love it!
It´s absolutely fantastic!

tier 5 players think all they are tier one and tier 1´s are feeling like in tier 5.
lovely.

T1 most likely, although T2 might see a lesser amount of that.
