Hi guys,

I tried following the advice in this post:

I copied the whole Piranha Games directory to an external drive as I needed to format/re-install windows.

What I did was then download the mwo installer, ran it the patcher for a bit and then closed it down.

I then copied the Piranha Games directory over the newly installed version.

However after running the patcher again it begins to start downloading everything again.
So I then tried the repair tool but it then seems to want to repair every package in the game, essentially re-downloading the entire game again.

I wouldn't mind so much but being in Australia sucks and installing mwo eats up our net plan.
Is there something I am doing wrong or someone who could point me in the right direction?

Wish MWO had an official backup tool :/
