Hi all. No poll here, as I allways do - since its "idea to analyse" for devs but not "theme to talk" for community,
We have hard that re-worked /mech/ skills tree are coming up, so i'vedesided to postmy few ideas about how it should be.
1)Each expirience point (xp pt) must give % bust for mech stats.
2)Each hit with weapon should increase its convergence speed, etc.
3)"Core" mech/wapon stats (like speed, cooldown, jump distance, turn speed and rate etc) should not b changed with xp pt increase - realy, if a gun have reloading system how can pilot tweak it?.. If engine have, for expample, max 100 rpm then how pilot can force it to do 101?.. Its technicaly unpossible.
4)Some "new" thing need to be added - "terrain passability coefficient", "collision model" etc - more km mech have psssed more stable it can run - less fall chanse, more accsel rate on different surfaces etc.
Overall idea - more use = more profit. Becouse now i see nothing reason to play ma favorite mechs over new one - 600+k exp mechs makes me sad...
