I would like to know what are PGI next objectives, that is, in what are they're working on (besides new mechs and packs and such). New weapons? new maps? new fight modes? what are they aiming for?

Heard a rumor that PGI has started work on the next map revamp - either Alpine or Therma. Supposedly a rebalance is in the works that will either solve everything or be rolled back and summarily ignored forever. There was another rumor that Assault was getting revamped to become a "CW-lite" version where one side attacks an embedded location, similar to CW. Um. More mechs. Bug-fixes.

- further reductions in TTK
- some expensive mechs with super powers that will be nerfed in 6months - 1 year depending on revenue
- ESPORTS, bruh


and on the bright side, QKD rescaling !!! ... and hopefully some more of these damn beautiful maps

Sadly, this level of communication seems to be their normal level; they only increase it when it seems people might stop buying stuff (like after the IGP ditch, or the Transverse debacle).

Mech re-scaling. But that is not until they finish Resistance II and Origins IIC packs.

He said on Twitter he was out of the office.

He could have in camping, on a cruise, or just looking at his ceiling. It'll come, Russ has been great to the community this last year.

They haven't updated The Plan in a long time.

But do they plan to? Do they have a plan for updating the plan, and if so, can they make a badly designed web page to display it? Or do they need to plan that and make a plan for planning that plan first?

Really that plan being there, not updated for who knows how long, just speaks volumes about what kind of outfit PGI really is, and how much they value communication with their community - hell, how much they value their community in the first place.

Except that community's wallets, of course.

IIRC, that was Bryan Ekman's responsibility, but that was obviously changed in favor of Russ posting monthly roadmaps.

While Russ has a good reason, what about PGI in general? Why can't someone else update the Roadmap?
