Now I know what you might be thinking "this is not your local isp support!", true though it is too late here to call them I might do so tomorrow.
But right now I am a bit desperate, I do not wish to drool over the revamped map on my phone through twitch! I wish to stomp around with my mech there aimlessly with you guys.
Now to the issue at hand, a couple of weeks ago my automatically assigned DNS server started failing at increasing intervals, when it started to fail every half our I lost patience and called my isp. Clueless as they were to what the issue was as they saw nothing wrong on their end they recommended me to use another dns. So I assigned myself googles Dns and the trouble was no more
However today it failed again, now without intervals. It just stopped.
I tried going back to automatic and tried other dns adresses (though there is a suprising lack of ipv6 options). To no avail. All seems to fail me.
Now, it would be rather strange that big suppliers of dns services like Google had issues and did not resolve them quickly, lending me to believe that the issue is isolated to me.
Fearing malware might be messing things up, but that is probably just me being paranoid.
Other then that, might it be my network card giving up?
I am out of ideas and any attempts at a solution is appreciated!
EDIT: Seems like the issues was magically resolved, would guess the ISP got air of a bad connection and fixed it.
