-People who didn't complain about the FS9 don't complain about the ACH

That's it for the most part, I'm sure there are a few exceptions here and there...

These have not been fixed, they've just fallen behind in the powercreep and are now just in the mix of mechs taken because if they were fixed they'd be ignored.

The Spider doesn't deserve to be on that list because it has been inferior to various other lights since the first day it was released. It has never been a meta light, and perhaps never will be. It just doesn't have enough hardpoints or firepower to be a good skirmisher.

Sample size 1 but I killed an FS9 in an ACH and he salted the chat earth.

Looking at my stats. Over about 100 games each in the ARC vs FSR.

The % of deaths for each is less than 5% difference.

So for survivability ... it really doesn't seem that there is much difference.

firestarters are in a good place after the hitreg improvements. Cheeters still needs the leg quirks removed.

If it's like the Awesome and easy to kill as a bulldozer pushing down a barn, nobody will complain except those who paid real money for it. But if it turns out to be a serious LRM mech and as tough as a Zeus or more... The QQ will rain from the sky.

Not that much, i do agree, but FS9 pilot have moved to the ACH who is a slightly bit better. So, is it surprising the complaint about the FS9 moved to the ACH? It's not and the powercreep is there none the less. Also, that does not mean that, if there was issue with the FS9, they are fixed now because we don't get to hear about them.

All lights are inferior machines. Some lights are more inferior than others.

Generally, if you've gotten killed by a light you made a bad positioning decision, got outmaneuvered, needed better teamwork, lost in the mechlab, or need to improve aim.

Well, I think the Cheetah is actually pretty close to not being inferior to its upper-class overlords. How close I can't 100% judge because I haven't fought against them long enough, but the gap is getting much smaller...

95% of the battlemech would like to be as inferior as a 142kph, wonky hitbox, ecm wielding, 6cspl clan mech. I dunno about the pilots in the 95% of those mech though. When it comes to light mech you can't suck, you have to be good to take advantage of your strong point and ability.

Don't forget to add the tiny center torso hitbox, which you can roll damage off of onto side torsos because your XL won't explode.

Must be nice. I wonder how soon it will get the nerf after it goes on sale for cbills?
