However, some metrics from Google has shown me that the word "Battletech" was most commonly searched in Singapore - more so than in the US, Canada, or any other nation (This was before the announcement of MWO/MWT)
I don't doubt that you'll be able to at least find SOMEONE if you look hard enough. At the very least, you can try to recruit new players from wherever you might buy comics, tabletop games, and other such geeky shops.

No idea about actual BT players there, but funny little story: Back when MW4 was just released, I happened to make a stopover in Singapore on my way back home from Micronesia and picked up a copy at the airport there. Really happy coincidence that I found it there by accident because it would be another few days/weeks before it would be released in my home country

Hi...Yea i just got into it. Been a huge fan of mechwarrior 3 and 4 back then. but when MWO first came out my com couldn't play it well....now that i got a new rig i suddenly remembered this little gem. Haha add me in game..IGN: astroprime

Look for us on the Oceanic Section of the Forums.
Several units with players from the area.
5SSP,SMLJ,256th Bear Cav have players mainly from Singapore & Malaysia.
Some of the other units from Asia Pac also have Singaporean players. Drop by and say hi.
