why yes, I always farm the pug queue... it's the only thing that makes the game interesting...

I use a riser for the wheel.. there are 3 joysticks and a full hotas connected...

joystick is **** for this game but I use a throttle and pedals

I've been watching the match scores at the end of my games and from what I've seen, I'm typically consistent with the other players on my team. Isn't average match score something the new matchmaker looks at?

I have had 3 or 4 really bad matches in the standard queue and alot of good matches. Over all a positive change.

Match fixing even in the solo queue does happen to result in stomps sadly and some stomps just happen. On the rare occasion a cheater or two happen also. I just try my best and know that the game is proving steadily if slowly.

This game has some amazing matches and is entertaining so its all cool. At the moment I mostly just chip away at ranking up on the faction map and stock pile creds. Looking forward to some big updates.

They are technically stronger in 1s... You can end up facing up to 12 elite teams at the same time with your pug group of random scrubs.

Wow, there is some serious comprehension failures going on today in MWO forums. (Not just you Piney, you're the one I happened to quote on this)

The group queue used to be limited to 4 players. This seemed to be a good limit in the queue. Now we have CW, why not just move all the big 5+ groups there instead of the public queues?

Tier 3 can either be stuck with Tier 5 or suddenly go up against Tier 1 players. Just never in the same match. I am wondering now if 2 Tiers higher against any player is too great.

This seems similar at least in the DCUO experience of facing off versus an enemy a single tier higher than you. You're going to get beat and badly 99% of the time. MWO does not seem that they have as much separation between players that way with a single tier is my suspicion, but two? it may be too much.

It seems people are forgetting perception is more important than reality. If someone thinks it's happening, to them it IS happening regardless of facts. And when factual data is being kept out or hidden (ahem, PGI... release more data) for whatever reason, opinion and perception is all that you have to go off of.

My 2c

been having great games on the OC server some nice close ones and some not so fun stomps aginst the other side, few loses so i believe i maybe a little low in the tier for my start point but that seems to be quickly changing as there is less carry harder games going on in just these few days meaning i can rely on the other 11 to do their part which i am loving.

being that i'm on the OC server and so is most of ARMD we do have some unintentional syncing of our matches likely due to smaller player numbers on the server
we know each others play style for the most part and use in game VoIP to corral the pugs.

the most fun part is actually hunting our own members when they are on the other side if we die to another member and or lose the ARMD coffer gets penalty cash monies lol

I'm suddenly getting stomped constantly as of this event. I guess people have been losing on purpose up until now to lower their PSR....

I'm seeing a lot more ridiculous games, but as far as I've seen it's not due to an increase in tryhards. It's more a bunch of people who probably haven't played in weeks/months running full throttle into some of the absolute worst positions on the map, on every map.

Like, I see some bad positions on occasion in my tier, but this is every game I've played today. People are running literal circles around the entire map for no apparent reason. Suddenly the E6 holy ground in Tourmaline is terra non grata and people sprint 2 full laps around the caldera in Caustic before they even sight the enemy.

I think what's happening is that we have a lot more people playing, and playing hard to score 300/400. PSR is probably working better than it ever has.
