my idea is inner sphere statues for each house.

house kurita gets an armored samurai with a katana posing with drawn blade.
house rasalhague gets an unarmored viking with an axe and a shield, with horned helmet
house marik gets an armored greek hoplite with big shield and spear, with the cool roman style helmet
house steiner gets a knight in gothic full plate armor, with a mace or warhammer, something massive.
house davion gets a chainmail crusader with nasal helm and 2 handed claymore
house liao gets lamellar armor with dragon themed (chinese) helm, dao sword and bow+arrows on his back

the clanners only get animals;

a big bear,
a big jaguar
a falcon
a wolf


these could be textured like bronze statues, or maybe painted like miniatures - have the player make the choice. it would only take a small texture swap, to make them look like bronze, silver, gold, or have the colors the real warriors would have, you just sell with the texture the player chooses to buy

these miniatures would sit on a little base that would have the simplified faction logo or just a bit of color from the faction it represents

taking advantage of faction lore would sell well (even if pgi employees are skeptical)

also, figures like these would appeal to tabletop lovers and those who print out the models.

they would have to be high quality models, from a character artist in zbrush or mudbox or 3dcoat,
hula girl level of detail won't cut it

actually, make the clan figures

a warrior in bear hide (possibly celtic or maybe a native american apache or other tribe)
for smoke jaguar a masked tribal warrior
for jade falcon a longbow archer in full draw
for wolf a cossack warrior with cossack hat (and cossack axe)

the theme for the clan figures would be a lot less emphasis on metalwork , barely any metal on the weapon (spears, axes and arrows) and all completely unarmored as opposed to the inner sphere statues,
these are more of a honor type of warrior, the tribal, the celtic... mirrors the clans philosophy well

The Rasalhague should skip the horns but the overall idea is not a bad one.

i know the horns were not used in actual combat, but the vikings themselves used horned helmets when in rituals, depictions of odin etc. so in a figure it would not be out of the ordinary to have a little horned one for symbolism. it could also be without the horns of course lol
