- Lag-Shield LRMs[[On a few occassions, I've seen Lrm-meta mechs like Warhawks and Awesomes at the back of enemy teams and when they started firing(alpha-striking maybe) I couldn't move back without easing back in my chair because my screen began stuttering blipping at 7-13fps for example. I got out of the zone man.]]Note: If they want to run those builds fine, but if the game can't handle it on Low settings for me, then I just conclude the game's broken.
- The New Large-Scale Maps[[On RC and FC(specifically the forested area) I've had some very low framerates out of nowhere. All I can say is that although Tourmaline is fine usually, these maps are too much on Low for me.]]
- Tree-Collision Lag???[[I don't know, but full lobbies of 24 players all knocking down trees at times while also engaging in combat just adds extra tasks for computers to handle.]]
-Increasing the Priority of the Client game in Task Manager
-Optimizing my Drives, clear caches
-Lower my resolution again...
-Purchase better hardware......(please no)(the req. spec levels would have changed by then.)
...and that's it. I don't know what else to do as a moderate Computer techy to bring my computer up to speed. Is PGI still polishing? I read the Sept. Roadmap but it seemed to imply they already polished the game. This is from the first paragraph of the Roadmap post:
"I think it's easy to tell that we had to take a few months to add a significant amount of polish to the game... Now many of those polish
...the Ui is good now but slow,
the Map designs are great,
the Meta does need balancing(I'm afraid of Light mechs as much as Assault mechs)(I think then those roles once advertised by the devs have disappeared with quirks, stat mods, Omnipods meaning; Medium Range weapons are now capable of functioning properly at old Long Ranges)
the game isn't optimized as always(except around early 2015... it still baffles me how smoothly the game ran even for me(like 30-40fps good) just after 1 patch...And EVERYONE POSTED THEIR LOVE of it all PGI. It was trending. Please. What happened?)
the game in general is not what it used to be,
...so in conclusion:
MechWarrior:Online is still the most interesting game out there for me still. BUT MAN... the game could break if they don't make it more functional. The game needs polishing imo.
