Hello everyone,

So, I just updated to Windows 10 pro 64-bit with a clean install. After setting everything up and downloading all my stuff I thought to play some MWO. When I lunch the game it saids that MSVCP100.dll and MSVCR100.dll are missing. I ran a file search and found them both in the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder and my Nvidia driver folders. Just in case there was an issue with them, I uninstalled/reinstalled the C++ 2010 redistributable pack. This didn't seem to help. I also ran the repair tool in MWO. Anyone know a fix for this?

Also install the 32bit version as well, and see if that fixes your issue. Odds are msvcp100.dll is not in the system 32 directory.

Derp. So, I looked into it a bit and I only had the x86 package installed. So I installed the x64 version too and it worked. Played a game and all is well. Thanks!

woohooo!!! :D

Since MWO starts in a 32 bit environment it uses the 32 bit versions, however Im unaware if it continues to use those once you shift it to 64bit? hmmmmm

Glad it worked!

Same here you need to install both the x86 and x64 C++ distro pack

I just upgraded to Win 10 Pro on my laptop
