This falls into the crazy idea category, so I am throwing it out there to see what happens.
In assault you should get increased C-bills and XP if you cap early.
I.e. the winning team (if the win is through a cap) should get the c-bills and XP times by the number of minutes left on the clock.
This will no doubt encourage the rushing of the base by one or both teams.
Which leads to a decision actually having to be made by the team whether to defend or attack or to split.

Make Cap In Assault Worth More If Done Quickly.

He's right - since the removal of turrets, Assault is no longer skirmish. This has led to some very interesting tactical outcomes, trap defenses, etc. It really feels like there are 3 *distinct* game modes now.
Only problem, many players are now griefing those who cap, since a win-by-cap substantially reduces cbill earnings. The rewards for winning by cap need to be increased so that the playerbase will support this game mode.
Also, could you up the Cap Accelerator module by 10%? I run lights exclusively to cap on Conquest, so you would think its a necessary module for the role I've chosen, but at best its only reducing total time to turn full red -> full blue by 10 secs. Its sad that there are more useful mech modules to equip for a conquest-specialized light....
