Look at this picture, when I'm not using a Resistance mech, am I losing 250K potential winnings?
Or can I still get those rewards when Using my Resistance mech? If so I will get only the Resistance reward for as many matches I've played non-resistance mechs....

Anybody know exactly how this works?

No you're not losing, you just have to play additional matches

What Iqfish said, you'll have to play more matches.

Essentially if you have a [R] Mech it'll make the challenge go faster, that way you have more time to do things.

None R mech owners can only get a max of 10million and R mech owners can get a max of 20million. So technicaly if you dont play your R mech for the rest of the even you are losing 10million because you can earn them. I am not losing anything because i dont own R mech and can only win 10million.

® Reward means you need to have used a Resistance variant, or you lose out on the extra bonus permanently.

The rewards are provided once the event ends... and is injected on PATCH DAY.

No, since there is no limit to how many matches you can play, and every match with a 150 score gives 250k no matter what 'mech you play (but if in a Resistance 'mech, you get an additional 250K).

The limit is on how much bonus you can earn; it's 10M for non-Resistance owners and 20M for Resistance owners.

So a non-Resistance owner would need to play 40 matches to hit his cap of 10M.

A Resistance owner could hit his cap in 40 matches in a Resistance 'mech (20M in 40 matches), or use non-Resistance 'mechs for 80 matches to get to the 20M cap. Or do some combination and end up hitting the cap somewhere between 40 and 80 matches.

Well, in previous events of this type, your "special mech" bonus rewards are require immediate usage of the mechs. Unless they have changed it so that if you use them later, you can claim the bonus... this situation won't change.

I'm sure PGI will come clarify their position.

PGI has screwed people before due to the arbitrary mechanisms/decisions, so I'm unsure if what you have said is the case (it's the ideal case anyways and should be the case, but this is PGI, so it's more probable than not that it isn't).

You can. In at most 80 matches, less if you mix in some Resistance 'mechs.

40 matches is minimum to reach the cap though.

there is no limit on matches. there is just 20mil cap. so, if playing R only mechs, that takes 40 matches. if playing non R mechs, that takes 80 matches.

Actually... no.

You actually have to run a Resistance Mech at least 40 times, regardless, to collect the doubled C-bill bonus rewards.

From the event page said:

Pilot a Resistance 1 [R] Variant in the Assault, Skirmish, or Conquest modes (Solo or Group queue) and achieve a minimum Match Score of 150 to qualify for 250,000 extra C-Bills. (to a maximum of 10 Million C-bills)
PNT-10K [R]
ENF-5D [R]
GHR-5J [R]
ZEU-6S [R]

Essentially, even if you do own a resistance pack, not actually running them ever gets you @ the 10m cap.

Just running R mechs 40 times (well, assuming you qualify all those times), gets you to the 20m cap immediately.
