Thought I'd start early this year. I think I'm going to use some old soda bottles to make humanoid forms that I can stuff into clothing, put masks on, and let the kids figure out that they are not real.

Take the time and do it right.

Or just sit out there yourself, that one always works out well, provided you can remain still.

No way man. If you want a good costume, whether you're making it yourself or ordering one, you need to start months in advance. Typically it takes ~two months to receive a made to size cosplay outfit. If you haven't ordered by the end of August, you're usually S.O.L.

If you say so. We don't celebrate Halloween here.

I'm sorry that you don't celebrate Halloween. It's a lot of fun. Great food, great laughs (as you freak someone out).

Can't say I'm getting excited for Halloween yet, it is still a ways away. Just wanted to interject the costume part though, it's pretty much set it and forget it, but you do have to decide and order early.

...... Halloween isn't anywhere close........ or maybe I am always...

Christmas is great, bigger fan of Thanksgiving though. Who starts celebrating Christmas earlier than the 15th by the way? Day before for me/done once my head hits the pillow Christmas night. I hate how they start playing the music everywhere starting weeks before Thanksgiving. I guess you could call that celebrating; it needs to stop.

I wouldn't say you're anti-status quo, just a sane person who doesn't see the logic in devoting a sixth of every year to a holiday :P. I'm with you buddy.
