I know I've suggested this before, but I wanted it to have its own thread. So, as some of you might be aware, one of the rewards for the resistance pack preorder is a warhorn. There is a very specific thing I think this warhorn should be, a pillar of our community and a symbol of the strength of our forum warriors.

I am talking of course, about for balance, corerule ignore.

Yes, that is right, I want a warhorn that shouts 'CORERULE IGNORE' in a thick, eastern European accent every time you send an enemy to the scrapheap.

I know some of you hate warhorns, but for this one case, can you ignore corerule for some balance?

Seriously, if that warhorn got in game it would be ******* hilarious. Doesn't matter how you feel about warhorns, having that with you while you're running a cheesebuild and pugging would be fantastic

Rules are already being ignored for IS engines, endo steel, auto cannons and clan heat, ppcs etc, and it's the ignoreing of the rules that unbalances the game. I shouldn't need 15 tons of heatsinks just to keep my Timber Wolf heat neutral while an Awesome fires volleys of clan equivalent PPCs all day.

It's not so much the ignoring of the rules as it is the tweaking of some parts of the rules while maintaining others.

Either stick with the rules 100% and suffer the results (op Clans), or throw the rules in a bin and do what's right for game balance. Personally I'm in favor of the latter.

the awesome is still far worse than the timber. What do you expect pgi to do? just say **** that chassis?
