CW is dead..please put resources to revive it!
Make it fun and interesting!
Make the battles dynamic with objectives like I've seen mentioned so it's strategic.
Boost the populations with events weekly/monthly
bring in bonuses for planets...
something.
Everytime we (my unit) wants to play, no one is on. ever

Make Cw Live Please!

CW is dead because grab planets mean nothing ... no economical background for now...
CW is dead because pugs don't stay cause matchs aren't fair....
CW match aren't fair cause all factions aren't populated good way and because PGI didn't split pugs and groups queues...
Factions aren't populated good way coze PGI didnt ajust cbills and LP reward and because contracts rules are totally stupid ...
PGI didn't do thoses things because ... oh wait i don't know why ... maybe they don't care about CW.

CW def needs work...and life.
CW should be the bread and butter of this game...i mean it's "Community Warfare"...the name itself is what this game is SUPPOSED to be!

U know they want to bring it? I think we have to wait until X-mas. I think that was about the time schedule.

CW has one thing that makes me avoid it like it has some kind of bubonic plague.
It's because of the bottlenecks on all of the CW maps. Those bottlenecks combined with the reinforcements makes it near impossible to get behind or on the flanks of the enemy.
Flanking and infiltrating enemy territory is my bread and butter. I love making the enemy running after me on a wild goose chase.
If i can't do it in CW i plain and simply ain't interrested in it.
Even if doing that wasn't so important to my enjoyment of MWO the CW battles are still boring because the matches goes like this.
- Teams meet up at the bottlenecks - Each side peeks out of cover and shoots - those who dares to go forward too early get shoot to pieces - when one side gains enough advantage they advance and kill their enemies in their own dropzone - the end.
Boooooooorrrrrrring.

While I see where you´re coming from, Spleenslitta, I beg to differ .
You CAN do what you love to do, it needs some specifics from your comrades to generate that opening so you can slip in and backstab .
Done it a few times myself when in Lights or fast mediums, but my DC mostly doesn´t really want mechs to wander about too much .
Please try, Spleenslitta, I am pretty sure you and your unit can find a way .

I did do it a few times but the effect i got from it was very small in comparison to what i usually get.
Usually i can get 1/2 or 1/4 of the enemy team to pursue me but here they pretty much ignored me since they knew that if i concentrated too much on poking them the reinforcements would pin me against a wall.
The maps look like they are same size as Alpine Peaks but all those unclimbable walls and the bottlenecks makes it near impossible to shoot and relocate after every shot.
I need a lot of space to do my thing.....hmmm. A demonstration is in order so that you can understand my problems.
Just look inside the 2nd spoiler button in post 2# and ignore just about everything else. As you can see i move around alike a caffeine addicted rat gone totally mental.

I hate CW for those and more reasons, thus I too do not play CW and never intend on doing so no matter what they do. Consider this... If the 1000's of man hours that PGI has invested in CW had been put into fixing the problems in MWO that we have had for months/years, they would have a premier product worthy of steam. Some dreams have a price, often too high to pay, and they become nightmares instead.

4v4 live mini-missions are due for the next phase of CW. That should draw in quite a few PUGs that struggle in the 48v48 CW matches.
