two of us this morning could not find a match. Tried searching for a match twice and let it search for over a half hour each time. The game seems broken.

Never had the issue prior to yesterday, and it def seems broken. Not everyone lives in the same timezone, you know.

yeah well some players are 2 hours ahead of me so there should be more game available. but nothing yet. If you search solo your luck is better than trying it with two players. To me that is just wrong.

Ok, now 3 of us are grouped up searching endlessly still no match even though I was able to get 1 game going by myself. been over 20 min wait so far. ARRRRGGGGGGGG

What mechs are you dropping in? If you're in 3 heavies or 3 assaults, try a couple lights and a medium or something like that. Larger groups tend to fill out Assault, Heavy, Medium first.

The matchmaker also prefers groups of 4 to build games around. You can kind of cheat the system by dropping in 4-mans, as the MM will give you priority when making a game.

What the Class percentages and what mechs are you dropping in?

If the Heavy queue is at 35-30% and you are dropping in two or more heavies you will never find a match...likewise for any other class with high percentages. But that will only help....the group queue is kinda borked right now since Tier implementation.

Like this man said....whatever is the highest just take 3 mechs that are not that class....weather its 1 light 2 meds or 1 assault and 2 lights....whatever. Just play the numbers and you might have better luck.

yeah, I know it just blows that you get longer wait times base off mech tons.

Its not based off your tonnage, its just that heavies are the best mech most the time.

Its based off what is already in the queue....you being heavier or lighter has nothing to do with it per say. If the light queue was 40% you would have a hard time dropping in lights rather then heavies.

But it isnt a rule that the fatter you are the harder it is to find a match other then the fact that everyone and their mom drives TBR's, Thud's and Ebj's.

Like i said, use the percentages before you compose your group....and try picking 1 of each of the different classes. I have very little problem with wait times any time of day but i also play lights and mediums a lot which are not that numerous to being with.

You guys are missing the obvious.

They're in a group.

Group queue is dead, broken, and generally all kinds of screwed. It has only gotten worse with the addition of regional servers splitting an already abysmal population (Group queue players, not MWO as a whole or units in general).

Try dropping solo at the same time and hoping you get in the same match.

No ****. But its worse because of the time of day he's looking for on top of our rather small user base.

People are saying this....but i have not seen a difference at all. Same 2-20 minute wait I always had in Group queue...

I do wonder if group queue gets fun games like this one.

Sounds like CW except CW is (for now) on one server, might as well go there.

Group queue is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW tonight for two of us. Been 15 minutes and we're so bored. Had a few good games, though. I really wish we could just slot a two man on each of the solo queue and enjoy playing instead of sitting here. Playing with a small group of friends in MWO has become a trial the last few months.
