nope
no effort, just all lrms on a warhawk-b
Take a look at my fairly recent game (right before the change) compared to yours. We had very similar games, both over 1000 dmg, both 13 component destruction. You actually had 2 more spotting assists and 3 more kill assists, but 2 less actual kills (this actually nets to 6,500 cbills in YOUR favor). Otherwise the 2 games are very close. Yet I earned over 60k more cbills. I cannot quite figure out where I got the extra c-bills out of from these screenshots, but something definitely changed. Its not a big drop... but they definitely lowered c-bills somewhere.

Is there a chart somewhere that breaks down how much CB you get for this or that? I've had matches where I felt I did as good, maybe even better than this and they weren't even close to this payout.

Recently got a 300k game, after subtracting premium and bonus, with 550 damage and 1 kill. The difference is I got a lot of flanking, lance and medium protection bonuses. Buddah uses LRMs in an assault so he just cashes in on the damages and kills.

Why cant he just cycle through 110 different mechs like me? Its fun to mix up your mechs.

Not saying he shouldn't but if you want the high C-bills, you have to game the system and make use of those bonuses. Particularly if you a lowly medium mech pilot like myself.

OK, so these screenshots show proof. This needs to be based on numbers, not feelings.
So, in the "old screenshot" killing blows are worth 5,000 cbills. (2 kills, 10k)
In the "new screenshot" killing blows are worth only 4,000 cbilles (4 kills, 16k)
Kill Assists used to be 7,500 cbills (6 assists, 45k in old shot)
Looks like they are now 3,500 cbills (6 assists, 21k in new shot)
Component Destruction used to be 2,500 (3 components destroyed, 7.5k in old)
Now Component Destruction is only 2,300 (11 components destroyed, 25.3k in new shot)
Also, despite doing 200 more damage your salvage bonus is about 1/5th what it used to be.
So, it has nothing to do with "feeling" you are making less or it is about the same. Check the numbers. The numbers have changed. This is a measurable drop in c-bills.
Also from comparison of your two shots "Spotting Assist" went from 2,500 cbills to a flat 2,000.
Old news dude. From 8v8 to 12v12 there was a change made to "level" the c-bill generating potential based on # of Mechs on field to kill. Then Rewards 2.0 came out (long time ago now) and now PRS has switched/tweaked what things can provide the bulk of the funds one can generate.
Team based play and the bonuses it generates has more to say about funds generated than it use to, back when Kills and Damage were the only 2 things that mattered and there were only 8 enemy units to shoot up.

Search for Rewards 2.0. The Complete List is in that weeks Patch notes.

We're in the Sunk Cost Fallacy Exploit part of the business model now. We've already spent so much time and money that we are unlikely to leave so long as monetization tweaks are small and spaced enough. P2w approach to new mech releases are a bit more obvious, ability to be competitive in the game without spending money slightly reduced, but we'll maintain the fiction that isn't the case because we're already so invested and it's not THAT BAD, right?
So pretend it's not the case or justify it or whatever helps you pretend and keep playing so you don't confront that absolute reality of the games steady migration to p2w, or as close as it can get.
Then again, who remembers when you absolutely could make enough cbills to afford mechs no trouble and money only got you Heros (that were in no way superior), paints and mech bays. All mechs were out for cbills and nobody had months of exclusivity.
Is what it is and PGI does what we pay them to do. When you paid them for that last mech pack you paid them to nerf cbills again. Justify that however you want.
I hear ya man.... funny, I have invested around $80 bucks between two accounts in the last 2+ years. I am extremely busy right now and have gotten back to work full time. If this is PGI's model and they would like continue this path, its pretty simple, I haven't played in a month or two. Working as intended? It would seem so....
