Hi!

I experienced two major problams with the game, and don't know how to fix. I tried repaier three times....

First, all sound in the game just dissappeared, the entire game is completly, fully muted. I tried settings but it says the game isn't muted, I have sound percentage on. (Even if I always played it with 0,05-0,20 percentage it was fine.)
Checked the windows sound settings the game isn't muted there too.
This happened with a friend of my too, right before my PC started this issue.
Any idea?

The other one is happened with one friend of mine. He just can't load in into CW. Tried repair, tried reconnect, tried lower the settings, nothing helps. He can play quick play, but CW is simply not load in. :-(

For CW, it might not work if your friend isn't using the 64 bit version with at least 4 GB of Ram. Also, try turning all the graphics to Low.

As for sound, I just got a new headset and I have the same problems, but only if I alt-tab to other windows. I just leave it plugged into the USB and don't use my normal speakers. It seems to be some kind of audio device detection issue. Not sure how to overcome it without restarting, so stick to just the headset if that is the issue for you.

Hasn´t there been some problem with USB head-sets?
I think I read something about that on the forums (I don´t have that problem, so perhaps it was fixed)

Mine is a USB headset and I'm using a Windows 8.1 driver on a Windows 10 machine (there are no 10 drivers available for it). As long as I keep the headset in it seems to keep working. If I unplug it to switch to speakers, it might not come back without a restart. I haven't played with it much yet. Thought it was the headset, maybe it's the game coding.

Sound - do you play in 3rd person by chance? In battles in space (HPG manifold map for example) there is no sound when you play in third person. You know, vacuum doesn't convey sound waves and all that jazz...

Hrm. My sound plays well, whether or not I've tabbed out. Unless you're experiencing one of the issues posters above me have suggested, you should email support, and post a thread about your issue here, in the tech-help work-arounds section.

I recommend an audio splitter combined with speakers which have an off button. The splitter should be just a few bucks at your local electronics store - or even a department store's electronics section.

..oooo, a splitter.. never thought of that. Wife likes to sit back and watch matches but I'm on headset for voip usually so she gets no sound. I could get a splitter and put a small speaker in the back by her.... interesting idea. :)

Splitter is a good idea, I think. MWO for me has always had issues with detecting a headset being plugged in after the client launches. Once I plug it in, everything goes silent.

If I plug in before launching the game, it has a chance of working.

If connected to an HDTV and you get a "Hiccup" in the connection, sound will usually drop dead even if video comes back. I get the problem more than I would like in Fallout 4 and MGS V: The Phantom Pain.

Sounds like a hardware compatibility issue - tell Support about it, if you haven't already. Even if they don't have a solution, they'll know about it and might be able to get it in a patch. Same goes for the hardware company's tech support - and of course you should check for updates to all your drivers.
