If you are an adult, with a teenager living at home, this prank is for you.

1. Get cooperation from you spouse.
2. While you are present with your kid, make sure that your child cannot see your spouse as they start talking to you. Then they press a play button of a recording of you, to fill in that part of the conversation. You on the other hand, remain silent. This is stage one.
3. After a couple of days, say when said teen is having breakfast, walk i
n wearing one shirt, leave and come back wearing another. Hang around for a moment, have a brief conversation, and leave, switching back to the shirt you just had on. At which point you and your spouse should both be present when you ask your spouse if they have seen the shirt you just switched out of. They should say no.
4. After a couple of more days, your spouse starts up a conversation. "Is your twin brother/sister still in jail?". You answer yes, and then give said kid an evil grin. Enjoy the freak out provided that their nose is not stuck to their phone.
