I just came across this post in Catalyst's tumblr and i thought i'd share it with you, because i haven't seen it get posted here on the forum.

So yeah. It looks pretty sweet and i'd absolutely love to have it here on MW:O too.
(Just wondering when we'll hear about Harmony Gold throwing a sissy fit over these)

Sexy! I want MWO's version to be more MWOized though. Shimmering Sword's art is usually more soft/rounded than Alex's it wouldnt fit as well into out established art style

Also: The resemblance is uncanning

That Warhammer looks pretty good, though I must admit I am looking forward to what they can do with the Marauder.

I do believe Harmony Gold will attempt to send a cease and desist order once they find something similar to theirs....

However if it's been this long already I doubt they can do anything about it, let alone the remake looks like the hammerhands quite a bit.

As for the Marauder that's going to be hard, either they're going to redesign it entirely or they're going to tweak this and that until it doesn't look like Harmony Golds.

I can almost guarantee that if PGI does ANYTHING to mess up these new designs should they get the go-ahead to add them to MWO, the forums will burn down in less than an hour.

With the new idea known as custom geometry in the suggestion forums asked by PGI themselves I doubt that will happen at all.

Same. I got my STK specifically because it was different looking, and the King Crab to. Upcoming mechs the Crab has the most character and for the unseen the Marauder is one of my favourites. The Ostmechs look good for this reason to, also for a none combat role if they ever add that.

I like Mechs that have a different feel and style to them. I have no problem with the Warhammer but I have never thought of it as cool looking in any way.

It really doesn't look that much different from the original art. Surprised if Harmony Gold doesn't make a move. But maybe they're finally pickling the beast. Maybe they've got some good lawyers lined up to take them to task.

It's a joke. Because of MWO's (horrible) PPC dynamic geometry, many designs with prominent PPC barrels get PPC nipples instead.
