... is a lot worse than dropping with a Trial Direwolf.

Ever saw a 100-ton LRM Direwolf got helplessly killed by a Raven?

I had a direwolf running with twin LRM 20's before.

It also had twin large pulse, trio of er medium lasers, and a UAC 20 as well.

It would be just as affective against a raven as having a 6 UAC 5 direwolf or a 2 large pulse, 4 er medium, 2 Gauss rifle direwolf (in fact those may be worse).

There is no possibly way to make a direwolf a 'serious' lrm mech without having it less then 50% of it's total firepower unless you are missing like 20 tons because even the gargoyle can pack more LRM's with better tonnage used then the dire.

Personally I want to buy a direwolf just to do a twin UAC 20 build and twin LRM 20 but do not tell the meta folks about that....

Last note: It's CW, Direwolf is not affective at all unless you're a 12 man who will not leave you alone to die or already on there 3rd mechs while you are still in your first direwolf marching to the battlefield.

Actually, I think I direwolf would benefit greatly from taking some LRM, becouse of its low speed, this would greatly increase its combat effectivness range..
